Garmin instinct solar crashes in swimming workouts.

I think you are aware that the watch crashes on swimming workouts, as many people have reported it. So the only question is, will you ever fix it?

no, testing on 12.20 software. i will write to engineer direct about this bug.

Today, 24:47.3 into my workout, at 925 m, my Garmin Instinct Solar went out of the activity to the main screen. Refused to start new pool swim activity, then proudly announced it's updated the firmware…

I swim 2-4 times a day, every day.

Had my watch since mid Dec '21.

My Garmin Instinct Solar seems to crash only in one of the swimming pools I use.

I think it is because the access to pool is based…

When does your watch crashes? after 1000m swim, when you press the rest or record button? Turns off the same during auto breaks? I reported crash a long time ago, they say they know the problem but still nothing.. No repairing update..

A few days ago I swam over 1000 m and it's okay. I swim now 3 times a week and there is not a single collapse. But I came across another error, even though I set 4 fields on the screen and in the right ° C, it still shows the battery life, but not degrees Celsius.

my watch crashed after 300 meters yesterday when i press save program result button.

buy this device for record my trains but it can't work correctly...

My Instinct solar has crashed on 3 of the last 5 swims when I press the stop button. All on full battery.. *** watch

The new beta released today addresses it. As long as the beta goes smooth, the new final official update will follow soon.

Like many others my instinct solar decided to stop recording my pool swim without any intervention from me. It does save but in the middle of a 800m swim. I’m tracking progress and all of a sudden its gone back to main watch face.

This is a fundamental flaw in a device that is marketed as a sports activity tracking watch.

Firmware updated to latest (14.10) and still having crashes.

I strongly recommended stop updating your good working firmware like me, all trainings saved without bugs. 13.20
