Instinct Solar - 12.10 Public Release Candidate

Improved the accuracy and reliability of elevation data during activities.
Made improvements to Pulse Ox widget.
Fixed InReach display verification.
Fixed issue where Recovery HR was displayed when there was no heart rate source.
Fixed rare issue where elevation would jump after starting an activity.
Fixed potential crash during swimming activities.
[Surf] Improved tide prediction accuracy for North America locations.
[Surf] Fixed potential issue where watch face tide chart would be blank.

Hello. I just replied to a thread in the German forums accidentally, but myself and a couple other users noted that 11.0 appears to have stopped Pulse-Ox from taking a reading (the LED turns off after only a few seconds.) Is this one of the items addressed in 12.10? I see it mentions "Improvements to the Pulse Ox widget".

After updating to 12.10, my Instinct’s buttons are frozen unless I hold down the top right GPS button and then the other buttons work for a few seconds, then freeze again.

Tried powering up and down several times, same thing happens. All buttons are frozen and respond to neither press nor hold except the GPS button which only respond to a long hold.

My watch is essentially unusable at this point. Please address this bug as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello,

I got an update (12.10) and since this time all the buttons are frozen. Restarts are not solving issue. Only long hold of ABC button works. After long hold on ABC the rest of buttons is also working but only for a few seconds.

Please fix it.

Absolutely same situation with my Instinct Solar !!! Fix it please !

To help with some additional info - actually, only the light button works as intended. If you press any button it turns the light On, and with the button Light you can switch it off. And the long press works with some buttons that have a function assigned to long press, like ABC, Set, GPS, and in my case GPS + ABC for Stopwatch, and GPS + Menu for timer.

I have the same problem. after a reset (delete all settings)
everything works normally again

Hello. Same problem as the others. Need to long près gps buttons or abc buttons to acces to the menus. Please fix it with a validated software... Users aren't there to validated your software... It's a shame to have think kind of bug...

My watch accidently rebooted during pool swim activity.

All progress gone.

Pulse Ox stopped working. It just spins endlessly.
