Watch charge jumps to 100%

When charging, on occasion, the battery level will jump from 90% ish, to 100%. This then stops the watch charging as it thinks its at 100%. For example, charge is at 91% and then the watch is moved and may briefly lose cable connection. The watch then reports 100% and stops charging.

Anyone else?

I have experienced this back on an earlier software version.

Yes, it just happened to me too. It jumped from 93% charged to 100% charged when I unplugged the cable then re-attached it. (It had been charging more slowly than previously).

I tried it again, plugging it into the computer as well as trying it with a wall outlet and the watch stayed on 100% charged. This is with v16.00.

UPDATE

I woke up after a few hours and discovered the watch didn't record any steps, movement, sleep, body battery or stress. I reset it and it said it was back to 93% charged. So I put it on the charger again (connected to the laptop) and it went up to 100% at a more normal pace. I've had to reset it a couple of times to get things working properly but it's all good again for now.

I don't know what went wrong - was it the cable, the firmware or the watch itself? It's a new watch so I'll keep my eye on things over the next few weeks and see if it goes wonky again or if this was a once off mishap.

the same thing happened to me during my initial charging. it went from 83% to 100%.
