Pulse OX with Battery Saver

Hello Garmin-Friends,

I use my Garmin Instinct in the Battery Saver Mode. Only the Watch Face is activated as low power because the display is so nicely reduced.

With this settings the watch will crashs while a manual measurement of Pulse OX.

With deactivated Battery Saver Mode everything is fine.

Can someone reproduce this bug?

Could you please walk me through how you are able to get your Pulse OX to run when Battery Saver is on? When my Battery Saver is on, my Pulse OX is always disabled.

I must be missing something in trying to replicate your report so we can look into the issue further to resolve it.

On my own Instinct Solar, I go to Settings > Power Manager > Battery Saver > Edit and Pulse Ox is always OFF. This is by default since Battery Saver being on, means no Pulse OX readings.

Even when Battery Saver is OFF, and I go back to the same menu, the Pulse OX is also always turned off by default and grayed out.

Another wards, no matter what you do, Pulse OX is defaulted to off when you are trying to adjust your Battery Saver. (It is a huge draw on battery so this makes logical sense from a design view point.)

Ich kann die Pulsoximeter-Einstellungen konfigurieren. Meiner Meinung nach ist es nicht standardmäßig deaktiviert.

Ich benutze Version 10.10.0.0.

i have mine on during battery saver when i sleep. batterysaver and dont change. then in pulse ox you choose during sleep.

but the problem is when in battery save mode and then go to pulse ox widget and take a reading. watch will crash after a couple of seconds

When my Instinct Solar is in battery saver mode, the ability to use the PulseOX feature is not possible. My watch says, "Battery Saver Enabled"

Also, when I go into the PulseOX widget settings while in Power Saver Mode on, it is grayed out on my watch.

A new software version was just released today, v11.00. Please update to the new software version 11.00 and try again.

With v11.00 it is the exact same behavior.

You are completly right with the power save mode. It is not logical to use the PulseOX feature at the power save mode.

But in my opinion it is currently the only way to have a watchface without additional data fields.

Turn on battery saver. Then go to Settings where you turn off hr and turn on hr during swim. In swedish, aktivitetsnätning. Domt know in english. There you can turn on puls ox during sleep even when in battery save mode
