Incident detection and Garmin coach

Just about to purchase the instinct solar, just want to check does it have incident detection and is it Garmin coach compatible?

Instinct does not have a built in incident detection. It is Garmin Coach compatible.

You've bought the wrong watch if you need the incident detection. Instinct 2 does have it, though, so consider upgrading. It is well worth of it, not only because of that.

This is so sad, I bought this watch and didn’t even think that maybe it doesn't have it! It’s an adventure watch, and even the cheaper watches it have it! So it’s so weird the instinct does not! So bad

Yeah but I bough the instinct exactly one week before the instinct 2 got out, so I just bought it… and for me they aren’t cheap to just go and get the new one this fast!
