I'm getting way too much calories from normal walking etc. Seems 30 to 40 per cent more than on my Fenix 6X.
Calories during activities seem okay, all other values (heart) are within normal parameters.
Instinct Solar Camo, Fw 9.30
Cheers

Check out the User Settings, if you have enterred all parameters correctly - gender, age, weight, height, and especially the Activity Class. Though, if it is the same account, and you did not change the parameters after getting Instinct, they should be identical. You can also compare the HR Zones on both devices - although I saw no evidence they are really used for the Calories calculation, I cannot exclude it.
Then, compare the HR graphs of comparable activities made (or wear both watches for a walk to test it more precisely). The discrepancy could be also due to false reading of the HRM of one of the watches. However, some differences like the HR Variability data won't be easily detectable - you'd need to compare also the Stress graphs of both devices to see the differences in HRV recorded by either device.
