Loop reboots using navigation with 9.30 firmware version

Hi,

I just bought an instinct solar.

Yesterday I had a sup paddle training and my watch rebooted at least 6 times and the last one it took two reboots to have my watch working back.

For details, everything started nicely, but when I just start to navigate with a gpx track from Garmin explore, reboot. After that reboot, everything was fine but if I pushed a button, my watch rebooted randomly.

I tried to verify if updates were available, my version is 9.30. When I look for changelog I do not found infos about 9.30, just 9.20 and next stable currently beta 9.91

Does anyone has informations about this version, or informations about this loop reboots ?

I'm on v9.40 and went for a 4hour hike yesterday....rebooted twice and I lost the about 4 hours of HR, Solar Charging data (before my hike start time).

Yes it's whenever I use navigation. Any other time I'm using the watch it seems to be fine.
I've created a separate thread for my issue incase it's not related to yours.

According to what you say, it must be the same. It reboots when navigation is engaged.

I have 9.30 in my Solar, any reboot....

You can new 9.4, it is available in Garmin Expres.

I do not have Garmin express on my computer. Garmin seems to not take care about linux users.

I will wait for Garmin connect release channel.

I hope it will solve this issue

Wow. When it happens to me I was lucky, I did not lost any data.

I just upgraded to v9.40 using virtualbox and windows 10 + Garmin express.

I will try to navigate during my next outdoor activitie. It appears that activity + navigation make reproducible this bug.

During your hiking activity, did you use navigation ?
