Plans for VO2 Max?

As I understand Instinct is not a running watch, I don’t think adding VO2 max would compromise the sales of the forerunner, or Garmin should at least let Body Battery and RHR metrics etc be shared to GC with Physio TrueUp so you can have the metrics from the VO2 Max enabled watch be able to use it.

I agree! Please add VO2Max to the Instinct! I just got it because I like the looks and functionality, but I run as well and would really like to see this metric on my watch.

Everyone needs to go to the garmin feature request page and request it. I already have. I let them know that a watch this expensive should absolutely have VO2max given the competition all has it.

For a few minutes I did think to upgrade my FR645 with an Instinct Solar, but the lack of VO2max and related metrics is a no-go for me.

It's the only feature missing from the instinct solar to beat the same priced Casio gshock gbd-h1000 for good! Casio's only strength over the instinct solar is vo2max and build quality perhaps. But the garmin exceeds in every software aspect and the hr sensor works underwater.. I think they will finally add it.

I don't mind not being able to see it on the watch itself, but not being able to get it on GC is pretty annoying. I bet the very small memory of the watch is for something but I can't believe there is not a way to make this metric available.

If you really need it, one solution is to share Garmin data with runalyze. They also claim better accuracy.

Is it correct? The V2OMax feature is that who tell you thet you have to pause XXX hours after the last training?

Same. I have a vivoactive 3 and when I found out the instinct solar does not have VO2 made me decide to hold off on the upgrade.

At least if Garmin could add the ability of you get their foot pod and pair it, for example.

At the very least, if Garmin could make a statement on it.

Either it "might" come, or it is never coming at all to this watch.
Not responding at all makes for a very bad PR management, even more when you consider the price of those watches.
