Synching selected routes and Waypoints to Explorer+

I have a number of routes and related waypoints set up. So I'm leaving on a trip and only want relevant routes and Waypoints to synch to my Explorer+. Is there a way to choose which routes and waypoints synch to the device?

I no longer have a legacy device with which to test. Your best bet, IF the device supports it, would be to use collections to handle this. For newer devices (which use the Explore mobile app, and fully support collections), data added to the primary collection (which you designate) syncs both ways. Data added to secondary collections will sync to the device if desired.

It appears the legacy devices and the legacy Earthmate app have special handling for the primary collection.

Collections are created on the Map tab at explore.garmin.com. Primary and secondary collections are designated on the Plans & Devices tab.

As I said, I cannot test this. Please post back with results if you try it.

Thanks for the response. I tried it. Collections allowed me to hide routes and waypoints from the map on the computer. However they all still appear on the device after synching.

I did not find any place to designation collections on the Plans & Devices tab. I will look again.

You were right! Under Plans & Devices, there are two clickable links under Synch, and one is for managing 'Collections'.
