activation on inreach explorer

 I just bought my garmin today 5/31/21 and I'm trying to activate my Inreach explorer and I put my IMEI number and authorization code in and it says device is suspended . Is there anything i can do to fix this and get it activated? 

  • Did you buy the unit used rather than new? If so, the previous owner failed to clear up his/her account. The unit is still attached to the original account, where service is suspended.

    If that is NOT the issue, then you should call tech support.

    If that IS the issue, you can still call tech support. But chances are that they will not help you with the prior owner issue. The prior owner MUST clean up the mess him/herself. At least, that was the way it was last time somebody posted about this.
