Waymarks syncing from website to Earthmate app ... but not on the actual InReach device

I have created waymarks in the website, and successfully synced it to the Earthmate app, however they aren't appearing in my list of waymarks in my actual InReach Device.  Any ideas how to troubleshoot this problem?  

(Note that Garmin Express firmware update is not available as my Mac isn't recognising devices that are plugged into USBs)

  • Unlike the Explore app, I don't think Earthmate has a way to force a sync between phone and device (only). The one on the Account page is either "sync with web only" or "sync with both". Not sure which. 

    If you have not already done so, force a sync from the Account page (after making sure that the credentials are present and correct). If the waypoints still do not show up on the device, the conventional wisdom is to have the device and the phone "forget" one another. Then re-pair device and phone and try the sync again.
