AFAIK, this is not possible on the web site or in the app. The easiest thing I can think of is to export the entire track as .gpx, then edit the .gpx with a text editor to remove points as necessary. Re-import the modified track. This requires that you understand the .gpx format and can identify the segments you want to remove.
This will be easier if you have a mapping program which can display the track and edit it. For example, I THINK BaseCamp can do this. Not a BaseCamp user (or fan), so I could be wrong.
Thank you! That's what I was afraid of. I have BaseCamp for my old Garmin GPS, but I am still trying to figure out how to navigate it. I wish Garmin would just have one mapping program that works for all their devices and is user-friendly.
