Import multiple GPX ?

Brand new to explore.garmin.com and trying to find my way around. I've worked out how to import .gpx files using the Import data Icon in the upper right fo the screen. Looks like you can only import one track at a time.. why so ? .. What's stranger still is that after I import that one track the import icon no longer works.. I.e I click on the import icon and nothing happens.

I have to refresh  my browser to get the import icon to 'work' again so I can import the next track. Seems like a bu. I've tried it on both Safari and Chrome on my macbok. Am I missing something ?

is there an alternative to importing tracks one at a time .. I have lots as I try to move all my historical data into Garmin from all trails, etc.
thanks

  • I brought this up a long time ago, but it seems Garmin wants to make this entire process as painful as possible for their users.....

I have no idea if this on on their "to do" list, or not even in the realm of possibility....

This, and several other issues are why I stay as far away from Explore as I can... Just not ready for prime time yet. 8^(

  • With regard to having to refresh to import again, you might try clearing the browser cache. That’s the conventional wisdom for all problems related to explore on the web.

I do not recall what happens if you import a file which actually contains more than one <track>. I don’t think the import pays any attention to the <name>, even in a file with only one track. So even if it creates multiple tracks from such a file, I do not know how you would tell which is which.
