When I sync my Inreach it shows it IS synced. Mere minutes later it shows it is NOT synced. The unit is not set to track so why does it say it isn't synced? Anyone else seeng this?
On the explore.garmin.com page under the "plans and devices" tab. In the past I could go weeks or more without it showing I needed a sync- presumably for updates.
Have never found that to be particularly reliable or useful. Seems to be random as to when it thinks I need a sync. I generally sync OTA for data, either when I have tracks to upload or when I make changes (such as contacts or messages) that need download. Use Garmin Express for f/w updates (although that's with the mini - not sure which devices are supported). Wired sync directly with the web site if all else fails.
