Can you load older tracks back into the unit or Earthmate app on my tablet?

I am using a tablet linked by Bluetooth to the Explorer+ in my car. Once the Explorer+ is at capacity, I will have to delete tracks and also lose the tracks on the tablet. Is there a way to load older tracks if I want to visit an area I tracked earlier but is now deleted on the tablet/Explorer+?
  • AFAIK, there is no way to load a track as a track. Tracks can be exported from the web site to .gpx files. If you have the track as a .gpx, you can import it into the web site as a route. You can then sync the route to the device. There is, of course, an upper limit on the number of routes as well. The other downside is that tracks with a large number of points will be "thinned" when they are imported as routes. This may or may not be noticeable, depending on the nature of the track. For example, pruning is not noticeable on long, straight tracks. However, a track which contains a series of switchbacks may be nearly unrecognizable in the neighborhood of the switchbacks.
