InReach Mini not turning on

Hi all,

My InReach Mini has stopped turning on. When I plug it in to external power, the screen shows 100% charge. When I press the on button, the screen stays blank. I managed to hard reset it while on external power - but after pressing the SOS button and the screen showing “Applying Update”, I cannot get the device to turn on at all.

Does anyone have any further suggestions?

Are you able to use a pc or Mac computer and use Garmin express? Maybe it will reload the software. That is probably your best shot and if that doesn’t work I would call Garmin support. Using Garmin express the device will normally start as soon as you plug it into the computer USB port.
