Broken-fell off moving vehicle

I accidentally left my inreach mini on the roof of my car waiting for my last message to send. I remembered at 50mph when I heard it fall off behind me! Now it's showing this strange symbol on the right side of the screen and isn't working. Is there any way to have this repaired?

Garmin does not typically repair and return any handheld unit. Instead, they typically exchange your unit for a refurbished unit. Your returned unit is then refurbished and subsequently used in the same way.

If the unit is still under warranty, the exchange is free. Otherwise, there is a fixed fee. I doubt that accidental physical damage (as in your case) is covered even the unit IS still under warranty. Best guess is that you are going to pay the fee.

Open a support ticket. They can give you an RMA. And support can tell you what, if anything, it's going to cost.
