Same text written by user, just without coordinates attached. In Earthmate the message will lack a location pin.

Message details will also not have elevation, heading or speed. On SMS the message will not have URL; inreachlink.com/xxxyyyz

On email the standard format could say "Show location or send a reply to", but will not have location included.

Note than often “Send anyway” will include location, even after no GPS message given.

Yes, the device will try for a while. Then "unable to send message" will be displayed if still no GPS fix.

Remember that when you are in motion, position sent is the one at the time send was first selected.

Another strange artifact is that if you go to navigation > show location and view your coordinates. Then go directly to send message, often the device will give the no GPS fix message, even after having the coordinates three seconds earlier.
