Waypoints

I have not used waypoints up till now. I was wondering if there is an associated cost. I have an inreach mini and the safety plan, if that info is needed.

AFAIK, there is no cost associated with waypoint use. Once upon a time, waypoints were transmitted to the Garmin servers and the explore web site when marked. Even when that was true, there was no cost. I don't believe they are transmitted to web site at all anymore. Strictly a local function as far as I know.

yes, while there still exist sometimes tickboxes on the website to automatically transmit waypoints, this has no function any more.

Waypoints will be synced to the server when devices is synced with the account
