Firmware Update 3.8

Just received an update to firmware 3.8 for my inReach Mini via Garmin Express... however, a change log seems to be missing. Does anybody what has been updated (aside from the firmware version number)?

They will show up here eventually. The release notes always lag by a few days.

After reading your post, I kept checking for an update - nothing until this morning, with a change log. The update must have been pulled to add the change log.

I don't really get the "Added support for forwarding text messages" improvement.

Any explanation?

There is a new option associated with both inbound and outbound messages found on the device. The option allows you to forward a single message as if you had just entered it. Message glance > up/down to thread > OK to open thread > up/down to message > OK to select message > OK again to open details > up/down to Forward option > OK to forward. After that, flow is similar to a new message. You can even edit the text of the message before sending.

I never felt the need of it but who knows, maybe in the future…
