explore.garmin doesn't show correct sync date

Hi,

I'm using a Garmin InReach Mini connected via bluetooth to Earthmate (latest update) on my android phone. The InReach Mini runs latest firmware (3.70)

Syncing seems to work just fine (contact info updates as expected, routes transfer, preset messages sync fine etc.), however, the website shows the last update happened back in May even though I'm syncing today. Any ideas?

As long as you are sure that the data is up to date on BOTH ends, I wouldn't worry about it. But do be sure that the data you generated ON the Mini (for example, logged track points - as opposed to points sent via the Iridium network) made it to the server. Sync should be bi-directional.

The other thing to try is to clear the browser cache and cookies. Be sure to log out of all Garmin properties before you do that. The rationale here is that you might be seeing stale, cached information.

If all else fails, open a support ticket. It's possible that something has recently been broken on the web end.

The other thing I would recommend doing to ensure that you have synced is using the inreach sync desktop app. Syncing Account Changes with inReach Sync

Great suggestions. I will give it a try.

If I hit "sync" in the Earthmate app, wouldn't it do a bi-directional sync anyway? Or how do I initiate a bi-directional sync from either Earthmate app or the InReach Mini itself?

Thanks for the quick reply. I gave the inReach Sync software a try and this did the trick. Thank you.

In the future how would I best initiate a bi-directinal Sync without the Computer software and just the app/website or inReach Mini device?
