mini inreach won't connect to galaxy s9

I cannot get my galaxy s9 and my mini inreach to connect via bluetooth.

I have recycled both devices. the inreach shows "connecting" and/ or "pairing".

I open the earthmate app and hit "connect". no "device" shows up.

I will suggest you to reset all network devices in Android and try it again , making sure that Bluetooth is visible on both devices.

Also , try to connect the phone and the inreach before opening the Earthmate app .
