InReach Mini motorcycle handlebar mounting options?

I am aware of the Garmin #010-11023-00 which is a bicycle handlebar mount that, according to the description, fits bar diameters up to 1". My motorcycle handlebars are 1.25" in diameter. Will this still work? If not, are there any other options to mount the Mini to the handlebars? I'm willing to go outside the official Garmin accessories options if it will work. Thanks a lot for your help.I'm desperate to get the Mini out of my pocket and onto my bike. Cheers.

I do not have one but ... iIt is attached with cable ties and I would be surprised if these did not reach around the bar given it is only .25 inches diameter more (or get longer ties). The only issue I can see is the curved base will not sit on the bar properly but I wonder if you could not shave the curve down a bit (Dremel tool??) or just put some tape/foam around the bar first so the mount does not rotate when tightened up. SAt least it is not a situation where it comes off, just rotates. It is not expensive (relatively speaking) so might be worth the try. I end as I started - I do not have one so take all this with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought about shaving the mount down a bit to fit the curvature of the handlebars but after looking at a view from a youtube video it seems that the base is 'partially' a thin piece of soft rubber. So I am not sure its possible to file of trim without ruining the whole mount. Like you suggest, it may just work anyway. I'm just not quite ready to risk $10 to find out. But that may be the only way unless I find any other options. Thanks a lot for the feedback.
