InReach mini not found by computer

I am having issues with my computer seeing my InReach Mini. I have tried 2 different computers one using Windows 8 and the other using Windows 10, using numerous different cables, plug in and letting it power on, already having it power on and then plugging it in, going back to a previous version of Windows 10, using Garmin Express and also InReach Sync. The unit shows it is charging. I need to be able to update the firmware... Any help would be appreciated

If the inReach Mini is charging but isn't recognized by the computer, please verify that you're using a USB cable that supports both charging and data transfer. The cable that comes in the box with the inReach Mini (should be labeled Garmin on the large end) does support data transfer, but you may also find other brands that do, too. If not that, I'd recommend trying the steps for "Firmware Update Mode" in this article: Troubleshooting inReach Sync for the inReach Mini

Apparently it was a cable issue. Found the correct Garmin cable and work just fine. Thank you for your help
