Tracks Saving to Garmin Explore App

the INreach used to save tracks into the Explore app by default. now they only go into earthmate, and you have to go to the web page to convert the track summary to be a track.

is there a way to convert them all in one go? and set that to be the default in the future?

Even if multiple items are selected then hit a convert button, it still only does only the one you clicked on. Didn't figure out a batch way either. I would think even if you go into the Devices tab and have the mini send to a specific Collection, I would assume it would go into that collection as not sync-able.

are there any Garmin staff on here who can help with this?

its really disappointing that you've chosen to take away this very useful functionality and given no way of undoing it.

I'm really sorry for the frustration. The inReach Mini has never been compatible with the Explore App. We did recently make a change to how tracks sync on the Explore Website such that you do have to convert them in order for them to sync to other devices (and appear in the Explore App).

From the article:

"This change was implemented as a way to help remove the clutter of tracks from the inReach device and the Garmin Explore App when they sync with the Garmin Explore Website."

Thanks Andrew, yes I saw that change.
my question is why was it made?

And can I undo it for my own device or tracks? Or at least change them in bulk?
