Reactivating plan. Do I need to Activate IR mini again?

Have suspended Freedom Safety about two months ago.
today I decided to reactivate Freedom Safety plan.
on site have added funds, hit button reactivate plan.
go outside and turned IR mini ON. Immediately device receive welcome message, but still asking to Activate. Should I do it?

You generally won't see the option to "Activate" or "Skip" unless the inReach has been restored to factory defaults. Proceeding through the "Activate" steps would be necessary if you are seeing those options.

Have you synced it after activating on explore site ? Because if you not sync it , Mini will never know that is active again

I definitely didn't restore to the factory settings, also my IR still have all contacts, waypoints, settings, owner info, etc as it was before plan suspension. On some stage when plan was suspended it start showing Activate / Skip as a first screen (after warning and owner contact info) when turned ON.

Any case, I hit Activate, waited for about 15 minutes outside, and devices said Activated and it seems working now as it should be.

Yes, I did sync via cable and inReach Sync macOS app immediately after reactivated plan on the explore site.

After this wired sync my IR Mini still displaying Activate / Skip.

I decided to go outside and hit Activate, waited for about 15 minutes outside, and devices said Activated and it seems working now as it should be.

Dear Bodya :

It does not work that way . Allways after you activate or suspend plan , Inreach must be synced , despite if you restore factory settings or not . Check point 6 of this link .

I remember #6 Sync the inReach device after your subscription is reactivated...

And I definitely did it with double check I got notification device is successfully synced.

So, it seems something was inconsistent with my IR as I need to reactivate it.
