Went on a little hike this weekend to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs, CO. The Mini lost GPS almost immediately. Even at the top with a completely clear view of a very clear sky, it never re-acquired signal, just sat there like a useless paperweight.
On the other strap of my backpack at the same height was my Garmin Alpha that never once lost GPS fix and reported full strength to 5 birds the entire time.
Very disappointed in the mini and its inability to get a fix. Very poor performance and hardly inspires confidence. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas? I have the latest firmware, verified before I left and when I got back.
