Live tracking on an existing route?

Hello

Is it possible to using the live tracking feature of the InReach Mini against a pre-defined route? For example - if I am doing a remote running race, can my family see my live track in real time but overlaid on a pre-defined route of the run so they can see where I've been but also where I'm going?

Yes, it can be done. Use Garmin Connect to create the route you intend to travel. Load it on your share.garmin.com map. Then, your tracking will appear on your share map over the route that you have loaded. It will only work on a full browser site. The mobile share map will not display the route you load. This has been reported to Garmin several times and they seem unwilling to fix it. But, the browser on a computer can show the share map with your intended route and your tracking points.
