I noticed something yesterday, and wanted to see if its the normal. I plugged my Mini in to charge. It powers on, and immediately goes into tracking mode. I'm running 2.50
There's a setting in Tracking that controls this. Auto Track. If the setting is on, the device starts tracking on power up. Since plugging it in to charge powers it up...
If you're indoors or otherwise not using the device, it'll charge faster if you shut it OFF immediately after it powers up. It'll continue to charge. After a brief pause, you'll see the charging icon on the screen.
IIRC, it did not originally power on when you plugged it in. Instead, it remained off and began to charge. I could be wrong. If it did change, I don't know when.
