On both windows PC app & IOS app when i try to log in for sync it tells me the password is incorrect. I know i have entered the correct username & password but it wont recognise the password as correct. Suggestions?
Check caps lock, although it seems unlikely to be the problem on both devices.
The other thing is to log into inreach.garmin.com directly. If it fails there, you can recover your password from there.
Note that, like all things Garmin, these applications and sites use Garmin single sign-on. Lots of cookies are involved. At least in the case of browser access to things like inreach.garmin.com, bad cookies can result in all kinds of problems. Worth logging out of all Garmin sites and clearing your browser cookies and cached files before trying again. Even access to the forums can cause issues when your forum credentials are different from your inReach credentials. I don't know if any of that applies to the sync application on Windows or to the iOS app.
This is still happening and I *really* need to sync before my trip in 18 hours. Ive had nothing but bad experiences EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive needed to sync this device.
