deleting tracks, collections

The functionality of the explore.garmin.com gets worse and worse?

Personal account, with one Mini on it.

Trying to delete any tracks or any items seems to be not possible.

There is only one delete function under 'unorganized', but it seems not to work. One can move such track to some collection, but not delete. Own created collections can not be deleted any more, seems to be for ever.

Is there really no way to delete any data on a personal account?

On professional account, the admin can delete things and if a user logs in with his credentials, he can also delete his data from there.

We are working to resolve this issue and will notify you via email when it's resolved. Do we have your permission to access your inReach account and make changes for troubleshooting?

Just looked at the issue with collections. If I open a collection which I created, I do have the icon there to delete it. I was able to actually delete an empty collection which I created just to test this.

About all you can do regarding the other issues to open a ticket. In my experience, explore.garmin.com is a work in progress. One step forward, two steps back. I try my best NOT to have to use it.

I agree with twolpert, and I could delete an empty collection. I use whichever platform (device, app, web) works.

OK, thanks, but no chance here. There is a dusty bin symbol. When clicked on, it says deleting collection, but result is simply that the collections is still present .

Also I am not able to delete any tracks and other items here.

The only delete control is under 'unorganized', but it is marked red and when clicked on it is even more red and has no function at all.

I think you're saying you can't delete through the Mini and Earthmate.

Someone else had a similar problem in another part of the Forum and wrote:

"Solved (workaround discovered) - I was not able to solve the problem on the Explore website. I don't have any devices that are compatible with the Explore App, but I downloaded the iphone Explore app and logged into my account through the app. From there, I was able to delete Collections and Routes. The delete then synced to the Explore website and removed them from there."

In professional accounts I do manage, all can be deleted and managed.

I have one personal account with a Mini in it. I can see all possible things in the explore.garmin.com, but there seems to be no way to delete any items like tracks. Collections can not be deleted too and once an item is moved to a new created collection it can not be moved to other place or deleted.

Explore App might be useful with at least Mini2

There is no way to connect it with Mini(1). Mini is synchronized with inreach sync software installed on pc and usb cable

Or can someone tell me step by step how to delete anything on the explore.garmin.com when on personal account with a Mini or other 'legacy' device?

There are no delete controls but one, which has no function at all

can you be more specific as how did you delete a collection created or any other data as tracks? I can not find any function allowing any delete. In which part of the menus did you find it?

hmm, but what do you use then when not explore.garmin.com? AFAIK there is no other way to acces any data as tracking.

If you read my earlier message, I copied and pasted what someone else did, even though the Explore app was NOT compatible with his device.
