Emergency Contact and e-mail?

I was just setting up some new user accounts and noticed that I am not able to enter an email address for the emergency contact.

I know that since sometime I can not do it by importing a xls with the data, but I am quite sure that I was able to enter email address still via website (explore)

is it really so that emergency contacts have no email any more?

they have it already as well, but have no real answer to it, except it is so

I notice that personal accounts do not have email addresses for emergency contacts either. I honestly do not remember if they ever did have email addresses.

there were times, when email was also in the xls exported and were there entered and imported later.

In more recent times the field in xls was missing, but could be entered by hand in the explore portal, not only for the main account, but for each user separately

Even in personal accounts, the field on the website was there

Apparently since some weeks ago, this field disappeared without any warning

not quite sure how to insert a pic here, but on this scrn you can see that there is email field in the emerg contacts. It was there still some weeks ago, even on a personal account I did create abt 2 monts ago
