GPSMAP 65s

Recently purchased the above with TOPO Pro 1:25 full UK coverage. I can’t view detailed mapping for wales/west England or south Scotland. All other regions display correctly but not these two. When zooming in, anything after 5km does not display for these two areas. All maps are enabled in the settings and if I switch the card to another device it displays correctly. Also displays correctly when connected to base camp.

what do you mean by that? That the device needs updating?

it’s brand new, less than a month and is operating latest version.

That is current, thank you.

May be a similar issue that other new models are having with some older maps.

Please open a support ticket with Garmin so they will know the 65s has similar issue.

Garmin want me to return the device and they’ll replace it. Let’s hope that works.
Another issue I came across at the weekend while in the lakes was the map vanishing. When I went to check my location the map had disappeared and all that was on the screen was the track I had left. Only way to get the map back was to turn the device off and back on. This happened twice.
