IR Explorer+ with Caltopo Maps

Longtime Caltopo user now gifted with the legacy Explorer+. I understand Caltopo maps can be integrated with IR if I subscribe to IR Pro. Earthmate may be sufficient but wondering if anyone is using Caltopo and what their experience has been.

Quick search shows that inReach "Pro" is for employers and organizations, not individuals - I'd call support to confirm one way or another. May also depend on your resident country. I don't know about the Caltopo import option.

This is Garmin's answer: "Pro accounts can definitely have access as long as you initiate that access using the IPC portal." Nothing said that individuals can't have a Pro account but I understand that the IPC portal is typically for developers and engineers. Caltopo has a step by step guide on their website. If earthmate meets my needs then I'll just stick with it. Still leaning the Garmin ecosystem and will know soon enough.
