Having received an Overlander yesterday I can see the need for a separate section here for help. Although it does not have inReach built in it has the ability to connect to inReach devices.

All the other devices which can connect to iR devices are wearables. The Overlander really doesn't fit any of the existing categories. And Garmin seems reluctant to provide forums for new devices. You might get lucky, but I wouldn't count on it.
I do not wear my GPSMAP 66 8^)
More's the shame. According to the manual "The Garmin Explore website and mobile app allow you to plan trips and use cloud storage for your waypoints, routes, and tracks." So going to explore.garmin.com leads to https://explore.garmin.com/Account/GarminUser > "I have one" > "Don't have a smartphone? Set up your device on your computer with Garmin Express." Oh dear, oh dear.
Knew the 66 series had ANT+ connectivity, but not that they had iR remote control functions. Unfortunately, Garmin does not provide English-language forums for the GPSMAP series or for other hand-held units, either.
No, but GPSrChive does!
