Existing trails not showing on inreach device

When viewing topo maps on the website I am able to see existing trails such as a Forest Service trail. These are not showing up on the device. Can I get them to show on the map on the device?

With the Map page of the device's Explore site open, click on the New Route icon. Then click on the trail where you want to start and continue to click along. Double click (IIRC) at the desired end and name the route. Connect with USB cable and Sync down.
