Odd quesrion about the Micro USB cable for InReach

OK this is a bit of an odd one but can anyone tell me if the InReach Explorer requires an unusual USB lead. Looking at pictures it looks like the male part of the cable is unusually long, is it just a regular micro USB?

Can't say I ever paid any attention. I have used at least one non-DeLorme cable successfully with an Explorer.
