KML feeds not working?

Hi,

I'm trying to track a number of yachts with inReach accounts and have noticed in the last week that I'm not getting any positions returned in their KML feeds. This is both for URLs of the form https://share.garmin.com/feed/ShareLoader/MapShareID and https://share.garmin.com/feed/share/MapShareID. Has anything changed recently?

I don't use the KML feed regularly. I did a quick check of the .../feed/share KML and am not seeing this issue. The snapshot contains relatively current position information. The .../feed/shareloader URL is simply a reference to the .../feed/share URL for use in applications. AFAIK, that one would never contain position information directly.

Have you examined the KML directly, or only the output in your own mapping application?

Thanks for checking. I'm downloading the feed/share URLS and examining them directly and I've also diff'ed the feeds from 4 different inReach devices and not getting data in any of them. Will keep investigating at my end in case I'm doing something wrong.

Ok, so I was being stupid - several of the feeds had aged out, which was why I was getting nothing for them. Tried a couple that have updated today and they work fine.

I am trying to get this to work also. I have used the same commands but only get the triangle showing the location, no track from previous track points. This is looking at Google Earth, Mapshare works showing the connected track points
Also when I send a message to Mapshare there is no indication that a message is there? if you click on the Triangle then you get ALL the data with the message in this data window, and the same in Google Earth?
Any ideas
