After 6 months or so my Garmin Fenix 5 started to smell like a wet towel. I tried several soaks, alcohol, peroxide, water with bleach, Lysol. I also tried swapping the band and soaking band. I finally took off the back plate and found the problem. I scrubbed with a brush and warm water then soaked with straight Lysol spray and scrubbed again with a brush. All good now. I’ll make this a 6 month routine. Love the watch and battery life is still outstanding after all these years.
