Backlight Always On If OHR Sensor is Enabled

I called in Augusr on my fenix5s. After updated, backlight stays on with wrist heartrate on, and you were "working on it". Watch has been fairly useless as I have to turn wrist heartrate off or battery dies multiple times in the day...can you PLEASE FLIPPIN FIX THIS! Such a waste about ready to throw it away and get a samsung watch.

loved garmin but this is a HUGE ERROR. with little interest in fixing.

I am sorry you have the issue. Your watch will need to be either exchanged or charged frequently if using your OHR feature. It is a failure of your specific watch and is not a software bug. My sincere apologies there are no other options other than disabling your OHR sensor.

Your warranty will be a factor on the replacement cost exchanging your watch when you discuss it with Outdoor Product Support. The Fenix 5 generation has been in release 6 years so there are models no longer available as a recertified option. The agent you work with will go over all replacement options.
