Watch constantly dis-pairing

In the last few days my Femix 5s has begun to disconnect from my phone up to 5 times a day and each time I have to go back through the pairing process on the Garmin Connect app.

I've restarted the watch and phone. Turned Bluetooth on and off. I've avoided a factory reset so far.

Other Bluetooth devices are fine. 

Anyone had or having this issue and know of a fix?
