Hello,
I have a Garmin fēnix 3 HR Sapphire and I continue to be entirely happy with it except for one key fault - the altimeter sensor has developed a fault, almost always calculating much larger elevation gain for outdoor activities than is accurate.
I have tried the recommended fixes that are found online but it is still an issue. Garmin customer service here in the UK has not been particularly helpful, only offering a recertified fēnix 3 HR (non-Saphhire) for £114.71 or 30% off the RRP of another outdoor watch.
This seems to have been a common fault with the fēnix 3 HR and so I'm disappointed Garmin won't replace it without charge (it is out of warranty).
Has anyone with the same issue found a way to resolve it?
Apologies for posting in the fēnix 5 thread, but wasn't sure where else it would go.
Thanks in advance.
Deiniol
