Fenix 5 dead? Won't plug in or charge on.

Plugged my Fenix 5 in last night to charge and go the normal vibrate. Sometime during the day today it just died. It won't charge or anything now. It's about 4 years old I think. Bad battery?

My 5xS just did this, was fine charging the night before, woke up and it was completely dead and wouldn't charge, the green lights on the back also didn't light up. Tried several times to charge throughout the next few days with nothing. Bought a brand new Fenix 6S and had it for about a week...then on a whim tried charging my 5xS and it fully charged and is now working!!! SO.....???

Now don't know if I want to return 6S because I don't need 2 watches and can save money using my 5 BUT what if it dies again....!!! Weird...
