using a mobile phone as a navigation device with a garmin app

Hi,

I want to use a mobile phone as my reserve device when road cycling (I have a garmin device as my primary). Ho do I set it up so that my phone can guide me along a course that is alrerady installed on my garmin connect app, which is already installed on my phone? (This is NOT about creating courses on the phone.)

Use a navigation app where you can load the same GPX file of the course. Most of them will do it.

You can use the Garmin explore app and it will display on watch too...
