My fenix 5 is not charging. I have completed soft reset and still no joy. Any advice?

  • Just heads up.... You may want to add a bit more info such as when it started? have you done an update? does the pc see it still etc etc....

  • Please try these steps again below. Double check to ensure all 4 pins on your charging/data cable are nice and straight and clean the rear connection point of your watch too.

    If no luck, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region. We might still have inventory of recertified Fenix 5X watches available in your region.

    Please try the following:

    - With your watch unplugged, hold down the top left power button for 1 minute.

    If your watch did not turn on, plug your watch in to charge. Give it 15-20 seconds to see if it responds.

    - With your watch plugged into the charge, hold down the top left button again for 1 minute.

    If the first 2 steps tried did not result in your watch working correctly again, here are additional specific steps to also try:

    1. Plug the watch into a power source
    2. Allow charging for 2 hours
    3. Remove from the power source for 5-10 minutes
    4. Plug the watch back into the power source
    5. Allow charging for another 2 hours
    6. Hold the Power button for 30 seconds or until the watch powers on, whichever occurs first
