Unwanted Notifications coming through Fenix 5

For about the past week, I get every single notification on my watch. This includes notifications I have disallowed through the Garmin Connect app. Even if I turn off all notifications they still come through. I have hard reset my watch, reinstalled the Connect app, unpaired/paired, etc. It is getting very frustrating. I've had this watch for 2 years and I have loved it! Now, I am hating it.

  • Do you have the Explore APP on your smartphone too? We are seeing odd behavior potentially due to the new version of the Explore APP causing conflicts with the GCM APP.

    If you have the Explore APP on your smartphone, uninstall it. Test your smart notifications again. If you are working properly again and use the Explore APP, install it back to your phone again and leave the Explore APP settings default. You should be fully working again 'if' your issue came from the Explore APP.
