I am sorry there is an issue. If your watch time continues to slip when not wearing it, you will most likely need to replace your Fenix 5.
Please try the following:
Hard Reset: Hold down your top left power button until your watch shuts off then let go once off
Factory Master Reset: How to Reset My Garmin Outdoor Watch
