Firmware 25.00 when will Garmin even admit there may be an issue??

I am noticing a trend with regards to issues with V25.00 firmware on the fenix 5 range and even I have had issues that was not resolved but a full factory reset yet was fixed by reverting to previous firmware.

Why is it Garmin seem uninterested in fixing issues that THEY created??

Why do we not even see some form of acknowledgment of possible issues?? I have even contacted support to be told they know of know such issues and stated they should look here to be told they are not able to do that!!

There is a huge disconnect with User and devs in Garmin... Why is this??

The devices are frigging amazing the thing that lets them down is the Devs/Softwre..

Rant over but curious as to others thoughts

What are your issues? I have a 5X and have been on 25 for a few weeks without issue. In fact my battery life seems to have improved. I am a daily user with running and weight lifting 6 days a week. In fact I have never had an issue after an update.

Well as a mountaineering guide/instructor I use my Fenix 5x DAILY TOO... And the issue I was having was GPS accuracy had dropped to an average of 30-50m which is not acceptable and also reported by an other user in the forums too.. Even after a full factory reset the issue persisted yet returning to 24.71 fixed the issue..V25 is the first firmware I have used that has issues, and the first time I have ever factory reset after an update.. Also my comment about issues with the current firmware is a general one as there is 6+ threads now reporting different issues with v25 of the software.... So this is not simply isolated either... I am pleased you are having a bug free experience with v25 but many are not.....

I'm also having problems. Watch keeps rebooting in the Pool Swim App. I really don't understand. It seems Garmin is sending us to try Coros.

I have kept back up's of all previous Firmwares since I have used the Fenix5x.. What watch is yours??

Thank you. For now I will wait for Garmin to issue a new software update to solve all these problems.

Make sure you download the file so you have it JUST in case they do nothing....
