Garmin Pay on Quatix

Hi - I got a Quatix 5 and would like to enable Garmin Pay. I was told by the support agent "Older watch". Is Garmin ever planning to enable one more generation (the 5's) to make payments or what am I missing here? Technically it should be possible. Thank you.
