fenix 5 25.0 update battery drain issue

After a firmware update, there are always people complaning about battery drains. Usually a restart of your watch solves this.

Garmin should fix there update process because clearly something is wrong, but garmin isn't really interested in improving the quality of their firmswares, in my experience. 

got the same problem since last update   30 % + that is like double the drain then before  , restart not solved the problem

I've also got the same issue since 25.0 update. Gone from having to charge every 9 or 10 days, maybe longer, to every 48 hours. I've had the same issue with an update a few years ago and the next release resolved the problem but seems to be taking a age for another one this time!

But i think I've found solution.

I open my fenix 5 (guaranty has expired 2 years ago) and disconnect battery. Wait for 5 minutes and connect again. So my battery go down again on normal level (from 0.65 to 0.40 %)

Same issue. Assume it is due to the HR monitor staying on constantly now which is also causing the backlight to not fully go off. I have tried a hard reset and factory reset. Neither solves the problem. Had to turn off my heart rate monitor.

After power cycling several times the issue seems to be fixed for me.

Did you find a fix? I got this update a week back and since then I notice a hug battery drain. Tried restarting the device, soft recent and a hard reset. No luck :(

Is there any new information on this? I have the same issue.
